Activity: Bungee Barbie/GI Joe Lab
- July 7th Concepts: Projectiles
Activity: Building and testing a catapult
Session 2:
- July 14th Concepts: Momentum and Impulse
Activity: Egg drop competition, build soda bottle rockets
- July 21st Concepts: Newton’s Laws of Motion
Activity: Launch soda bottle rockets
Session 3:
- July 28th Concepts: Energy & Motion
Activity: Roller Coaster assembling and testing
- Aug 4th Concepts: Electricity
Activity: Building a basic circuit
Session 4:
- Aug 11th Concepts: Magnetism
Activity: Make an Etch-a-Sketch and an electromagnet
- Aug 18th Concepts: Electromagnetism
Activity: Make a simple electric motor
Tuition: $20 per session/per student (register a friend, sibling, cousin, etc. and get $2 off per session/per student). Tuition is due one week before the session begins in order to provide adequate materials and equipment for each student.
Ages: 6 through 12 years old
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location: Easy access from Highway 89 and Highway 193 in Layton.
